The Nívó Award-winning Debreceni Majorette Együttes, founded 44 years ago, is the country’s largest majorette ensemble, currently with 16 groups of girls aged between 3 and 25. They have travelled the world with their spectacular choreographies with majorette baton, pompoms, small and big flags and ribbons, including many countries in Europe, America and Japan. Since 1981 they have been performing at the Debrecen Flower Carnival as a leading group accompanied by a brass band. As a testimony to their unbroken success, they have regularly been awarded the gold medal at national competitions.

At the Advent in Debrecen, they will create a cheerful atmosphere with a show of Christmas music at the city’s Christmas tree at the fair on 6 December.
