The “Bérletszünet” – the Orchestra of the Csokonai National Theatre is a group of people who are brought together by good company, the love of music and creative energy. For them, playing music together is a different kind of fulfilment than playing together on stage. They create something for their own pleasure, they can be together off stage, but still on stage.

The band was formed in May this year, giving their first concert at the Deszka Festival, and since then they have performed at the Campus Festival and the city’s 23 October celebrations.

This time they are preparing a Christmas repertoire for the audience, with American and Hungarian hits, polyphonic choirs and folk song arrangements.
The Bérletszünet Orchestra will welcome the audience on December 14 at 4:30 p.m. on the Advent stage.
