The Csokonai National Theater band is a group brought together by good company, a love of music, and creative energy. Playing music together is a different kind of fulfillment for them than performing together on stage. They create something for their own enjoyment, spending time together off stage, yet still on stage.

The band was formed a year and a half ago, and their first concert was at the Deszka Festival. Since then, they have performed at the Campus Festival, the Made in Debrecen Festival, and several city celebrations.

This time, they are preparing a Christmas repertoire for the Debrecen audience. Their program includes American and Hungarian hits, polyphonic choirs, and folk song arrangements.

The Bérletszünet Band will welcome the audience on the Advent stage on December 12 at 5:00 p.m.
