Since 1953, the Debreceni Hajdú Táncegyüttes has been preserving, nurturing, and enriching our folk art with unwavering enthusiasm and dedication. Their work has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the European Folk Art Award, the Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Community Award, the Debrecen City Pro Urbe Award, and the Hungarian Heritage Award.

Every generation of the ensemble has earned the highest, Arany I. and “Excellent Ensemble” titles at the most prestigious professional competition, the dance ensemble qualification system.

In their festive program, the entire 350-member community, from preschoolers to senior dancers, takes to the stage to showcase the power and beauty of tradition.
