Orpheum Madams evokes the golden age of swing and jazz with modern elegance. The Nyíregyháza-based ensemble brings classic tunes from the 1918–50s to life with sparkling harmonies, spectacular stage presence, and a genuine “smoky club atmosphere.” Their repertoire features iconic songs from the past in a new guise, in the style of Broadway and the big band swing era.

Their concerts offer not only a musical experience, but also a kind of time travel: in the cozy light of Christmas, the audience can fly back to the elegant world of swing dancing for an evening.

The audience can meet the Orpheum Madams Band from Nyíregyháza on December 13 at the Debrecen Advent, where the two singers and the five-piece band will perform the most famous Christmas songs in the magical style of the swing era.
